TITLE OF BILL : An act to amend the labor law, in relation to
requiring all employers to post information regarding eligibility
information under the child health insurance plan

PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL : (Requires employers to post child
health insurance plan information).

SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS : Requires all employers to post
information regarding New York State child health care plan.

JUSTIFICATION : All employees should be aware of this state program
to provide health care for children, particularly if their employer
does not provide this benefit.

PRIOR LEGISLATIVE HISTORY : New Bill.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS : None.

EFFECTIVE DATE : This bill shall take effect on the one hundred and
eightieth day after it shall have become law.
